James Edward Gray II

James is a humble web programmer who likes to remind himself, once a year, how much he doesn't know about algorithms by participating in the ICFP. Clearly he enjoys pain.

Gregory T. Brown

Gregory has been contributing to the free software community through developments in the incredibly exciting field of business reporting. This work has inspired him to name his software after an evil capitalist for one project (Ruport), and fishing bait for another (Prawn), which clearly qualifies him to participate in the ICFP contest.

He wonders how he managed to talk his girlfriend into joining him for 2008, and how Dana has managed to allow him to return to Oklahoma City for ICFP since 2006. That having been said, he is the normal one, and all the others are clearly deluded.

Caleb Nordloh

Caleb lives in Castle Rock, CO with his wife and two boys. He works for Northrop Grumman as a System Administrator, which he says is really more of a life style than a career choice.

Caleb has been participating in the ICFP since 2004 and wishes they would bring the ant problem back.

Ed Livengood

Ed lives in Kansas City, KS with his room mates. He works as a computer security tech for a major bank. He has participated in the ICFP since 2005.

Ed, like the Gods of Barsoom, is best not discussed.

Dana Gray

Dana lives in Edmond, OK with her husband James and two pets. She recently left her job of eight years to develop software for her husband's company, Gray Productions Software Inc. This is her first ICFP competition.

Dana made test maps for this year's challenge that made us cry.

Jia Wu
